• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder SVG File

I am looking for a Spyder RT and RS Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file for my personal use. Does anyone have one they are willing to share or for a small fee?

Thanks in advance

Question: SVG? What can be done with a file of this type? :dontknow:
Is it something that can be moved around or twisted in a manner that would allow for customizing with graphics?

A lot of software used to control machines that cut vinyl can accept the SVG format. My Cricut hooked up to my computer using special software uses SVG files.

If you take a line drawing like the one I posted and want to resize it you'll note that it starts to look a bit odd.
Depending on the way the program you are using does the resizing you can get fat places and a "dirty drawing".

Fonts are a good example of vectored files.
Most fonts allow you to resize.
A 72pt A looks as good when printed as a 12pt one.
A font file contains drawing instructions for each letter - not just a bit map.

Vectored drawings are used by programs like AutoCad and made it possible to have high quality architectural and industrial drawings at any size.

 Wow... :opps: I feel as if my IQ number has just been revealed; and it's way lower than my Mom ever said it was!
