• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder storage option

Maybe I am just a little paranoid, but that doesn't look stable enough for me. Think I would have to use those funds to find another option for storage. JMHO

Gene …. the three legs for the stand all comes down to geometry. Since three points define a plane, the frame will never rock and will always have a solid three feet on the ground. Had they added the forth leg, it would have affected the stability as there is the potential for an unlevel condition on one of the legs.

All the best …. Ann

What you say is true, except a 3 leg stand can still tip over, even though it may not wobble.

I don't think this has been mentioned before.

If you are tight for space to store your Spyder here is a possible option. The platform size is plenty wide enough and just long enough for a Spyder. Saw the ad in Wing World!
