• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had the Spyder in Las Cruces today so I stopped and took a few pics next to a Slingshot. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428719478.684421.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1428719489.216744.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1428719503.799895.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1428719517.334922.jpg

Gotta say..!!

slingshot is really large..must be one of the reasons they find it hard to class it a motorcycle...:dontknow:

I really like the Polaris RZR in the background. Now that makes it a good comparison between vehicles.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:. I don't believe one can really compare the spyder to the slingshot. Just too different, although both are great vehicles & deserve praise. But what do I know anyway.

That's the Slingshot SL has windshield, backup camera and radio with six speaker system, blue tooth and 18" wheels. The SL LE comes with dual windshields, interior LED lighting and special paint color. The titanium color is the basic model. No radio, no windshield and 17" front wheels.

I own 1 of each and can attest that there really is no comparison except both have 3 wheels, 2 in the front and 1 in the rear.
Both are licensed as motorcycles.
Both are a great ride and I enjoy them both.

That is a great set of comparison photos. Did not realize how much bigger the SS is compared to :spyder2:.

Thank you. :yes::yes:

saw one today

going down Broadway.. walked out of my shop and followed him till he parked..asked him if is was ok if I gawked..He laughed and said go ahead..His was the Red one all decked out..$25,000 ..But he said comparing it to a Harley Trike Or a Goldwing trike.. this was a better deal as He said I have had both..and he said this was a lot more fun..Older guy..Probably My age:opps:..said he would like to have a motorcycle.. but at his age.... Younger guy came up and asked what is it ..He said a motorcycle..young guy looked confused:hun:..
I want one

Hi Craniac,

I was in Daytona Beach, FL last week and probably saw five of them going down Atlantic Blvd over the six days I was there.

They do seem interesting,

Does the Slingshot's extra 15" of width ever bother you, when transitioning from to one the other? :dontknow:

The extra width is absolutely no problem when transitioning back and forth.
Biggest concern is low road height of 4 1/2", must be careful around "speed bumps"
Width is really no problem at all.
