• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Red RT East bound going up Hwy 2 to Stevens pass Saturday Sep 24[SUP]th[/SUP] around 10:00am crossed paths at Deception falls.:2thumbs:

One of these days you'll see us (blue RT, two up, with matching blue BRP helmets). We have a place out in the Shelton area that we visit every other weekend or so, although we've only driven the Spyder out there once so far (when we did our 'round-the-Olympics trip a couple of weeks ago).

Headed over the "hill"..last "big" ryde of season

Next week I will be heading over North Cascades hiway...eventually ending up at Friday Harbor...also will be ryding around the peninsula....in case the snow comes early then I can get back on this side of the state by dropping down to Columbia River and traveling back that way....sooooo look for the silver RT with flags painted on front fenders and other special graphics. Raining today, but raingear takes care of that.... then I bought me one of those bajaron suits...so ready for rain & cold!!!

Red RT at Alderbrook resort and Spa.
A Silver RT in Union on McGrevey
Black RT in Shelton
Sunday 4-22-12

You missed the Blue RT just north of Shelton. I was out there this weekend, staying at our place at Lake Limerick. I rode out Saturday morning and back Sunday afternoon, 100 miles each way. Beautiful weather for a ryde!

So, there's several of them floating around the area, it seems. We're gonna have to round 'em all up one of these days!

Sorry I missed you; I will do a better job next time. I’m just north of you in Union

5/26/2012Red and a blue RT together in Allyn, around 4:00

That was me! We finally saw each other! Lise and I were on the blue RT, with our friend Julie on the red one. Julie was taking us on a day of glorious backroads ryding on that side of the pond today. We had just stopped in our place in Shelton before heading north on Hwy 3. Here's a pix while we were stopped.

I thought it might be you; it’s funny how a split second decision makes the difference on what or who you see. I would normally take the turn offonto Hwy 106 to union, but I decided to go the Hwy 3 route and because of thatwe crossed paths.
My wife and I were just talking about how few spyders we seeon the road. Friday we ran to Oregonfor a 400 mile round trip and didn’t see one spyder. Oregonwasn’t enough so on Saturday we ran a couple hundred more around tawana side ofcanal, had lunch in Seabeck (tons of bald eagles there)
Give me a heads up next time in town so maybe we can hookup.

Will do! I had no idea when we started the day we'd even be down there - thought Julie was taking us up to Sequim. But she had a friend (who was on the Harley behind us) who wanted to ride with us, and she was in Belfair, so we ended up going down south instead. Since the route took us right past Lake Limerick, where our place is, we stopped there for a look-see. After we passed you, we rode out 302, then circled north on back roads through Gig Harbor and into Port Orchard, before finally heading home via the Kingston ferry.

Next time we run out there with the Spyder, I'll drop you a note. If the weather is nice next weekend, we might ryde out.

Well, it wasn't me! :doorag: But I did see a black RT, two up, going the other way as I rode home from work yesterday, in Redmond. As usual, when two Spyders pass, the casual motorcycle wave turns into a high-five wave.
