Spyder SE5 in May!!!

Hey, I sent an email to the Spyder Team, and they said that I will be receiving my Spyder SE5 by the end of May. I am sooooooo excited! They said I have a "certificate number" for this sale. I was wondering, though, will I be getting anything in the mail about this DIRECTLY from BRP?? If anybody knows about this, please let fill me in.

Yeah, I know. When I first placed the order, they told me that it would be around September when I get it. But I contacted the Spyder Team directly, and they sent me an email back telling me I am scheduled for the end of May. Waaaaaay sooner than I thought! I must be living right!! ;D

Just ordered an SE5 in NJ. Will contact spyder team next week for an estimate. Getting delivery this summer would be a huge plus!

I ordered my SE5 back in December of 07. Don't be surprised if they tell you to contact your dealer. This is what they told me at first.

I ordered my SE5 January 4th and was told it would be "at least" July for delivery. A follow-up call today revealed that production seemed to be ahead of schedule. i have to call back next week and will have an update on the delivery time

Yeah, when I ordered mine in December, I was told it would be late September or at the earliest late August before delivery of the SE5. I called the Spyder Team last week, and they verified that delivery for my Spyder SE5 will be late May at the latest. A BIG difference! Now I'll be able to enjoy it over this entire summer! :bigthumbsup:

Well, that is not any new information to me. This is the same information that I received back in December when I first ordered my Spyder SE5.

I recently contacted the Spyder Team, and they sent me a VERIFICATION EMAIL stating that my SPECIFIC SE5 order was going to be delivered BEFORE THE END OF MAY. They told me this AFTER I was told the September date. I reminded them of the Sept date, and they said that the delivery will be by the end of May. Here is the exact email I received:

Mr. Beushausen,

We have the confirmation of your purchase: Certificat A02938 register by the dealership Lake Effect Marine for a yellow SE5 Spyder unit.

For your info; the delivery is suppose to be by the end of May 2008.

Well, I will email them to death until I get an answer. I just want to know for sure one way or the other.

To clarify the Can-Am Spyder roadster shipping/delivery schedule, BRP has released the following information:


3. Customers with pre-orders received by BRP from September 18, 2007 to present until further notice – dealers will receive delivery by May 31, 2008 (not "Premiere Edition" Spyder roadsters)

I was told at the end of september for my se5....they did suggest that it could come sooner, but instead of working myself up, im just going to assume the end of september, and if i get it early, it will be like a Christmas present...now if i dont get it by the end of september I WILL BE PISSED ;D
