Spyder RT Lifting

Has anyone used the Harbor Freight Tools [FONT=&quot]High Position Motorcycle Lift[/FONT]
It say it will lift up to 1100 lbs.
Or what is a good not super expensive jack to lift the Spyder RT, What motorcycle jack is being used I don't need it yet but why wait until I do. I like the J&S Line up but $$$ The Quasar lift also $$$. I am going to want to install a new sway bar to limit the body roll So I'm going to want to lift as high as possible.

Get yourself a pair of jack stands too and don't forget to use a wheel chock(s) when you've got the bike on the jack.

I also use the :agree: craftsman one. I also noticed that the harbor freight by us no longer carries theirs was basically the same but blue.....

best to lift from the opposite side your working on..

I used the less expensive 1500 lb. Capacity ATV/Motorcycle Lift Pittsburgh® Automotive - Item#60536 and built a simple wood 13 x 13 in platform made from a 2x6 and some scrap particle board I had., lifted the Spyder to the max height of the 60536 lift, dropped it onto 3 Ton Jack stands, dropped the jack, added the platform and prepped everything before extracting the old swaybar. Jacked it up off the jackstands and the bar dropped out on it's own, popped the new bar in, then lowered it back to the jackstands to bolt things in with a safety.

Harbor freight works just fine. Bought mine from Craigs List, used, for 50 bucks. No issues.....
