• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder RT Hybrid!

Was just wondering if anyone hear that BRP is working on a Hybrid Motor for the Spyder? And if anyone knows how that's coming! I am trying to keep up to date on their progress is coming for I would like to try to be one of the first ones where I live to have an RT Spyder Hybrid.

Not an RT, but I think they have a prototype on tour in europe.

I just hope to keep my Internal Combustion engine available. Hybrids are fine if that is was someone wants, I just hope this is not another movement.

No doubt about it; there's something looming just over the horizon...
Will it be electric vehicles? Doubtful because of the issues with producing electricity now... Nuclear plants have fallen out of favor and getting to the coal that burns nice and clean is becoming an issue also. :dontknow:
Hydrogen power? Maybe in a hundred years once an infrastructure is deleloped... (But I'll bet that it does have a future!)
Ethanol, propane, bio-diesel... once again there is no viable supply system in place. There won't be until Exxon/Mobil and the rest can dig their hands deep enough into the technology to make it worth their while to support it! :gaah:

:welcome:

The area that I work in has been trying to be the Hydrogen capital for a while now. They have some vehicles running around, and a whole bunch of fork lifts at some of the plants, but it still hasn't started to be pushed out for infrastructure upgrades. I am not sure how long it will take, if it ever happens in my lifetime. :dontknow:
