Details
In Hamburg-Altengamme, an eleven-year-old boy died in a traffic accident with a trike, the father and the driver were seriously injured.
According to the police, the eleven-year-old and his 41-year-old father got off at the Gammer Weg stop around 1 p.m. When they wanted to cross the street behind the bus, they were hit by the three-wheeled motorcycle.
The trike driver also had her son with her
The child was fatally injured and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The 43-year-old trike driver was also seriously injured, her 15-year-old son suffered minor injuries as a passenger.
Emergency chaplains take care of bus passengers
According to the fire brigade, emergency chaplains took care of at least ten passengers on the bus who apparently had to watch the accident. The exact course of the accident has not yet been clarified. The police photographed the scene of the accident with a 3D scanner and are asking witnesses to come forward.
Main dike closed
The Altengamme main dike has meanwhile been closed in both directions between Altengamme and the Borghorster Elbe dike. Just two weeks ago, a motorcyclist had an accident at the Borghorster Elbdeich / Altengammer Hauptdeich intersection, collided with a car, crashed onto the street and was seriously injured in a clinic.
