• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder RS Gas Gauge issue

Mr Safety

New member
The other day I filled up my tank and then went out to dinner. When I came out of dinner and started up the Spyder the Gas gauge showed empty and the low level fuel light went on. I looked inside of the tank and the tank was full. Since then the tank fluctuates all over the place but usually after running it for a few seconds the tank shows empty. Anyone else have this issue on the RS ? :dontknow:

Have removed your instrument cluster and checked to see if the connector is loose? The connector may not be clicked in tight. Anyway that's where I start.

Indeed a good place to start, however, if there is a loose connection to the cluster I suspect a lot more then just one light or one gauge would be on the blink.

Page 326 and 327 you can see the hoses leading into the tank - the fuel pump and at the bottom the fuel level sensor. If you have a quick look at on these lines/hoses you may seen something loose. You can remove just the middle right side panel to take a look at this assembly.

Another place to start at least. I hope that helps. Please feel free to keep us updated on this and how you make out.
Cheers,
Dean
