• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

yesterday one of my good customers informed me that his dad (Phil) lost his battle with cancer .... he was an awesome guy he would stop by every time i was outside my shop and talk to me about spyder.... then i ran into him at a local dunkin's and he bought one... we shot the $&9# for a bit about mods and helmets and other stuff pertaining to spyder... he was a cool dude ... his son said it was quick and he didnt suffer and he was surrounded by family when he passed...

Sorry for your loss - hard losing a friend. Will keep yoj and his family in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about the loss of a friend and fellow Spyder rider. However it gives some comfort to know he went quickly and with family surrounding him, My prayers of comfort have been said.

Sorry for your loss. I am glad to here it was quick. There is a bunch of cancer in my family and it is usually a long terrible fight.

Sorry for your loss of a friend. Cancer is a terrible thing and he is lucky if he did not suffer, it usually doesn't happen that way.

Let me take this opportunity to tell the spyder community to please get regular checkups. This is a terrible disease that can strike anyone at any age. Early detection is the key. I know you've heard all of this before but it is true, I know, my mother in law & I are cancer survivors. My father, grandfather, and an aunt, and on my wife's side both grandmothers & an aunt weren't as lucky.
Early detection, early detection, early detection, can't say it enough.

This forum is awesome.

Sorry for your loss Tatt2r...The warmth, concern and prayers shown by SpyderLovers is simply amazing. I lost my Dad to lung cancer many years ago..thankfully quickly, and surrounded by family.

While I am a long-time techie (back to era of punchcards), I have never experienced the genuine community connection that this forum exhibits. It is a truly awesome phenom.
