• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So it looks like I will be s new owner of a 2011 RT-S SE5 Silver soon, Hubby called me today and said he ordered my B-Day gift!:clap: She’ll be here in about 45days! So my question to you all is what would be the first 3 MOD’s you would recommend. I am all about the “bling”, but really am liking all the LED option to light the RT-S up so it is more visible riding.

:welcome: :congrats: on your new ryde!
We'll be looking forward to hearing from you as soon as you take delivery :yes: get ready to have some fun! :yes:

Mods

Congratulations. :thumbup:

My favorite 3 mods for the RT:

ESI HMT Brake Light;
LED Mud Flap Lights;
Utopia Drivers back rest;

I have seen all of the BRP Chrome items mounted on the RT and quite frankly they all add a wow "bling factor" to the bike. Plenty of choices from the vendors on this site as well, so get out the plastic and get shopping:ohyea:

Welcome aboard! :2thumbs:
Bling... You've certainly come to the riught place; we're all magicians here and all know how to turn cash into chrome and lights!:roflblack:
modifications:
Extra Brakelights
mudflap lights (versus reflectors)
more chrome accents...

:welcome: I would ride your Spyder a while before you do any mods. The RT doesn't need much, but some like different seats, many need electrical outlets for a GPS or heated gear, some want to pull a trailer, and of course, there is always a need for more lighting. The ESI Mudflap Lights and the ESI HMT Brakelight are good ones, as are their BrightSides.

:congrats: WOW!!!Great Birthday Gift! As far as "bling" goes...just hang out on the site for a bit and enjoy the ideas of the members and site sponsors.Amazing stuff!
(We are all waiting to see who will mount the first 65" Flat Screen 3D TV.:roflblack:)
Once again,:welcome:

For the 2011 the first mod I would do is a Corbin seat. nojoke Other than that there are lots of light options, my favorite are the mudflap lights.

Congrats!!!!:2thumbs: I love mine and I know you'll be over the moon on yours too.

As for mods... I suggest you drive it for a bit first. See what there is that you'd like to change to make it more comfortable for you.

Lights are great (see our pics under Spyderwolf)
There's time to do lights and when you're ready we'll hook ya right up!! ;)
