• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saw this in Fredericksburg this morning. It is a Goldwing trike with the Spyder front end and wheels. It has the frunk and 4 wheels.

I saw one last year at Daytona Bike Week. I think the quad conversion was on a Goldwing by Hannigan. It looked very good and I was told it handled like a sportscar and ran about $45-50,000.

I love Goldwings but for me 2 wheels maybe a trike but 4 wheels.Rather have a sports car.
just my 2 cents.

Just got my latest issue of Rider magazine. They feature a Hannigan GW conversion (three wheels) they say they can go up to $43,500.

I've had people say the same thing to me about my RT.

:yikes:

I could see riding with four wheels, though I certainly wouldn't want to spend that much $$$

It's a "hannigan " QUAD, don't know how he got that registered ?????????.....Mike

Simple. You start off with a registered Goldwing convert it and if you don't have to take it though a state inspection motor vehicle will never know, And they'll just send you a new registration in the mail every year.

It is interesting, but for that kind of money I would rather have a RT and a RSS. I think that would be the best of both worlds.

It's kind of interesting... but I think I'd be looking for a Miata and save about 15 grand... and then use that cash to buy another Big-bore ATV for the dirt!

Bob, last I knew in 5 States you could street register a Quad. But Va. wasn't one of them....but I didn't see the plate on the one pictured.Annnnnnnnnnnd I think just about all States require at least yearly Inspections.????.......But then again He was in traffic !!!!!!!!!............Mike

The only quads that can be legal are Low speed electric [Roads posted under 40]
Polaris sells one. And pending any local ordinance to out law them.

Michigan doesn't require annual inspections thoughout most of the state. I don't know if they require inspections of motorcycles in the Detroit area or not. One of the pitfalls to the four wheel units is the need to meet USEPA auto emissions regulations, and applicable auto safety standards. That keeps the concept out of the realm of factory production.
