• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder looks way tougher without the frunk

I think there should be an aftermarket kit to toughen up the appearance of the spyder. They look awesome without the frunk. This was my first frunk removal and it's kinda shocking that there isn't much holding it onIMG_20130725_152018_857.jpg

And you're right; it does look pretty mean!

Nice view!

Looking at your picture brings up a question... Does the frunk have to come off in order to install a new anti-sway bar? I'm going to buy one for my wifes RT-S for a winter install and am going to try to install it myself...

no, you dont have to remove the frunk to install the BajaRon anti sway bar and yes, some sort of rounded nose peice might be a better option, sort of like.... gg-taurus-2.jpg

there could be a way to add storage to that nose

I think you have to at least loosen it up but at that point u might as well get it out of the way

It's not necessary but helpful. Sometimes taking the extra effort to make things easier to work on is a road well traveled.

I had heard how hard it was to install HID lights in my RS. Well if you're trying to do it through the hole left from removing the speedo cluster, it is. It took me about fifteen minutes to remove the windshield, turn signals and the top portion (dash board?), it was a piece of cake.

Sway bar..!!

you don't have to remove the frunk but you do have to remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the bottom portion and place a 2x4 block between the frunk and frame..it is well explained in the instructions..good luck..!!

Thanks for the info...

Sorry to hijack, there are all kinds of crazy things we could do to the frunk area, I kind of like the shortened nose pic...

I agree! BRP should consider doing a naked version of the RS. No plastics, maybe do two big round headlights on the front, no fenders......

Simple nose piece with snorkels for cooling the rad. A quick swap kit for the longer trips. No more roasted nuts maybe! :2thumbs:
