• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No joke. The Spyder is good for your health.
Me, before Spyder: 232 pounds, hypertension (156/83) pulse 68, cholesterol 208, vision correctable to 20/20 left eye. 85% vision loss right eye.

Me, one year of Spyder: 185 pounds, not hypertensive (115/63), pulse 55, cholesterol 140, vision correctable to 20/15 left eye, 35% vision loss right eye and remaining vision correctable to 20/20!!!!!

No kidding. WOW nojoke:clap::spyder2:

Maybe Can Am can use that in their commercials and/or market it as an accessory.

Congrats!!

How'd you do it? You don't stop long enough to eat? Congratulations on the improved health and to many more years of riding.

You 232 pound?

Yeah right

A sort of similar and repeatable result here...
When I would drive my truck to the Wound-Care Center, to have the ulcerations on my left foot cleaned out; my blood pressure would be 130/90.
When I took the bike; it'd be 90/60!
They could tell how I got there EVERY time! :D

I walk every morning. I Ryde every afternoon! Life is good! Retirement for me! (Sung to the tune of Green Acres)

I guess I should be recommending the spyder to the patients I see every day in physical therapy because most certainly don't like exercise of any type.

I don't like it either. I just don't want to spend the last ten years of my life watching "Storage Wars" and "Chew" on TV! So, I exercise.

Was that weight loss on a 2014 or 2013RT?? Which should I buy to loose the most weight. Can't weight to hear the results!

Yea I know you have a 2012--Just kidding and poking fun at another thread.:joke: Good on you for loosing the weight.

Jack

Jack,
That's a tough one to answer... :dontknow:
You'd probably lose more weight while running from the flames of a fully-engulfed 2013 fire...
But that won't do much good for your blood pressure! :D

Running. Are you serious? That might be considered exercise.

RT=Regally Thin. I feel sorry for ST Ryders (Significantly Thick)!

For me..!!

More mental health...but congrats to you for quite an accomplishment...just more benefits to owning a roadster...!!:thumbup:

I'm settling for just being able to ride nojoke Without the Spyder and the SE transmission, I'd be sitting on the sidelines right now. That's enough of a health benefit for me. Now I just hope I can keep it up for another few years.
