• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder F3 strip decal Black on hood ???????

Lastchance

Bought my F3 last fall had the stripe decal on the hood but had bubbled about half way down on the inside and outside edge, dealer said they installed a set and it did the same so they got a new set and had them installed by a professional, that's the set that was on when i bought it (BUBBLED) so I bought a set from a member, took the old off cleaned the old glue then wiped down with rubbing alcohol install new decals and PERFECT until a couple weeks later when it got to 80 and full sun and there it was bubbled again same place. Next step ???? have a set made with some decent material that's known to stick. Anyone else having this problem ??

If these are the factory decals, the bubbles will eventually disappear. I had the same issue and a few weeks later it all looked perfect.

Same problem on my 2015 F3s; Better vinyl is available but my son, who bought mine when I got a 2016 SS, is to have some painting done.

Why not call Pete, at wrapmyspyder.com, and see if he has any advice to give you...
Good Luck!

3 sets all did the same thing if I were to do it again I would wait for a sunny 80+ day and do it outside after being in the sun a half hour or more, but I have a friend that makes decals so take a pic and give him the sizes -- PROBLEM SOLVED

I went to my local sign guy and told him what I wanted. He was reasonable and if I have problems I could go to him and he will stand by it!

yes

I got the vinyl stripes too and same thing. One of them bubbled in one area (unfortunately along an edge, so dirt could get under there and it would never stay flat...). I ended up getting stripes painted on.

Problem solved, bought some matte black vinyl on ebay cut my own covered with transfer tape installed and test drove in full sun and no more decal lifting. I believe BRP decals are a fairly heavy material and when it gets hot especially BLACK it expands and causes it to lift, what I used is thinner and seems to hold up fine in the heat.
