I am a proud owner of a CanAm Spyder F3-S SE6 from 2015 with 6100 km on it.
I have now a big problem. The canam is showing some faults on the screen.
VSS FAULT - CHECK DPS - CHECK TRANSMISSION.
Without inserting the key in the bike, the ABS works. It makes a loud noise. I checked it and 2 cables from the fuse box directly to the ABS have electricity without turning the bike on. It seems like the battery gives directly electricity power to the ABS. If I remove the fuses then the ABS don’t get electricity.
The bike starts normal, normal sound from the engine. Also sometimes I get it in reverse or first gear and I can drive a little bit. But no up shifting or to neutral.
Is it normal that the ABS gets electricity without turning on the key? Are the DPS and TRANSMISSION connected with the VSS/ABS ?
