There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Well I have started my major mods/upgrades this week on my 2011 Spyder RS-S.

Rivco floor boards and highway pegs (I had powder coated black)
ISCI Hinged Brake Pedal
BRP HID Headlights (That was fun getting the dash console unit off)
BRP 12v Cigarette Adapter
ESI Fender Tips kit
ESI Day Runner LED Light kit
ESI Triple Play kit
TricLED Angel Eyes LED kit
Motolight Fuse box panel
Evoluzoine O2 Sensor override
Evoluzoine Sway Bar
Kewl Metal Spyder Web (Painted my old yellow one flat black)

One of my custom mods is for the Rivco floor boards....They come with a really small aluminum foot peg that is really hard to keep your feet on. I modified their bracket and installed the stock foot pegs.
Attached are the before and after pictures.

This is the default Rivco Floor Board and very small foot peg.

This is after the modification of their bracket to use the stock spyder foot peg. (I didn't have the highway pegs on at the moment....working on another custom mod for them)

I have a few more mods that I will be finishing up tomorrow and will post some more pictures!

I also installed the Wolo 419 BAD BOY Dual Tone Air Horn that I picked up at Advance Auto Parts.....WOW. This thing is loud for $50 horn.

It was a direct plugin to the factor connectors but I had to make a little bracket to mount it behind the fuse box....and also a couple of zip ties to double secure it.

Hey Spyder-Dude... not to stir the pot but did you ever ride with the Rivco short pegs or did you modify the brackets for the stock pegs from the very beginning?

I ask because I'm curious how the longer pegs work with the footboards, and because I've personally found the short pegs to be quite enough, and complementary to the footboards (whereas before I rode with my toes on the stock peg, I now generally ride with my heel on the short peg, my toes on the floorboard, comfy position).

Dave,

I did try it with the Rivco small aluminum foot pegs but didn't like them. My big size 13 boot kept sliding off it. So much better to have the stock pegs back on.

did you use a relay to power the wolo horn?

No according to the instructions it says if you have a 2 wire factory horn to hookup with out the relay. I have used the horn several times including one long 10-15 second to test. It is very loud. I scared the crap out of my 6 year old son and my 15 year old daughter with it in the garage :)

cool horn

i was thinking of using a set of caddy horns, but the bad boy seems to be much louder and higher pitched. decisions, decisions:shocked: so , it mounted in the stock horn location?

I couldn't get it to mount where the stock horn goes...different shape. I found a spot to mount right behind frame that trunk attaches to. And also zip ties for extra secure of it.

horn

bought one today, on your recommendation, at harbor freight for 32. now i just have to INSTALL it:thumbup:

Coz,

It was working fine until I had to really lay on it when a tractor trailer almost cut me off on my down to Daytona....it blew the fuse so I am going to hookup the relay. I bought a wiring kit from twisted throttle that will make hooking up the relay easier for $29.

relay needed

i was surprised when you didn't need a relay. there was discussion on this a while back regarding the nautilus horn, that it would draw more power than the stock horn circuit could provide. my bad boy included a relay, so i'll use it. thanks for the update.
