• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder buyers beware.

Just wanted to spread a little buyer awarness. I bought my spyder back in june and had very few issues to deal with. Having purchased mine from a BRP authorized dealer they new alot about the spyder. The technicians at the dealer had all been trained to work on spyders and all other can am/sea doo products. In other words they only sell and service brp products. I have heard many stories about other buyers having all kinds of problems with the spyder and the dealer is not even up to speed about the machines. They know very little about it. Lots of people out there want to get part of the action. So they start selling spyders at their motorcycle shop just to make the money. So I think before you by a spyder check how long they have been selling brp products if they sell any at all. They should also be trained to work on these machines and be able to answer your questions. Just wanted to share some thoughts with all of you.:spyder:

So, Byers beware and happy shopping.

Thanks for the advice, it makes sense to me. Bought my wifes Spyder from a dealer who mostly sells motorcycles and it became obvious at my 600 mile service that the mechanic wasn't up to speed on the servicing of the Spyder.
