• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Automatic Questions

Awaiting arrival of automatic on West Coast (SLO). Question; any left foot activated levers (break, other)? Have limited mobility of left leg/foot.
Two dates are advertised for automatics (April, August) - when should we see sales in local area of automatics? San Luis Obispo, CA is nearest Spyder distributor.
Will the distributors be getting new brochures/dvd's for customers soon - both Bakersfield and SLO dealerships are out of copies, and said are backordered for some time? I have ordered a brochure/dvd and am still waiting for them. Problem?
What price range for the automatic model(s) should we expect? Will there be more than one?

There are no left foot controls on the SE5 (unless you count the parking brake). The main brake control is on the right, so as long as your right foot is functional, you should have no problems. The price will be $16,999 U.S. for the silver, $400 more for yellow or red. BRP says that the SE5 will be delivered as follows: All pre-orders received by BRP (for the semi-automatic sequential electronic transmission SE5) by January 29, 2008 – dealers will receive delivery in September 2008.
All new pre-orders (for semi-automatic sequential electronic transmission SE5) after January 29, 2008 – dealers will receive delivery in November 2008 until further notice.
Cheers,
Bruce
