After the Busch bean tour on Friday during SITS a few of us went for a little ride. We decided to check out Paint Rock which started out as a paved road. It turned into a gravel road but seemed to be in pretty good shape. After a few miles it got a little rough so we stopped for a photo. Turns out we were right in the middle of a bear reserve. :yikes:
We continued on traveling about 10 miles at about 10 miles an hour. We stopped at a public picnic area and my Spyder began belching black smoke out of the tail pipe, looked like a chimney. I restarted the Spyder and blew it out and it seemed OK.
We didn't get a pic of Paint Rock so I guess I'll have to return. The road did eventually get better and exited at Hot Springs which will be the way I go back at a future date.
