• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder and a two wheeler!

I really like and enjoy riding my 2015 RT Limited. I have put a lot of farkles on it and have it exactly as I want it!!
i have kept my 2013 Kawasaki 1700 Vulcan Nomad as I still like to go for a ride on a two wheeler.
Well this past Sunday I went for a ride with some good friends. We stopped at the local Harley Dealer so they could check on some light kit for their Harley. I was wondering around looking at bikes. Low and behold a 2017 Street Glide in red caught my attention. I took my Spyder home and drove my Kawasaki back to the dealership.
Yep you quested it right. I left on the new Harley!! I have always wanted a Harley. It was a dream come true. This afternoon I was enjoying a good cigar in the garage. I just sat in a chair and looked at both red bikes sitting side by side. As I am retired I have all the time to ride them both a lot. It may take months to get the smile off my face!
my daughter is going to sell her Harley and learn to ride the Spyder. She is very excited. Now if the darn weather would cooperate we will be good to go. I am glad to get her off a two wheeler. She is a good rider but it just made me nervous as heck!!

Let me be one of the first to say :congrats:. You have the best of both worlds--one of each.

The Vulcan Nomad 1700 is a fine ride. I had a 1500 version. I traded it up for a Vulcan 2000 LTD. For me, a mistake as that was just to big for me, from a weight standpoint.

I am guessing you are going to like your new HD--a LOT.:bowdown:

Enjoy your rides. You have two very fine machines.

Welcome to the Hogs! (Harley Owners Group) Don't forget to register and join up. Many Many perks and discounts world wide. I had my first Harley (Hummer) at eleven years old and owned them off and on till 2008. My wife rode a Harley "Low Rider" for many years. Nothing better on a long ride. They are built for the long run and a dealership is in every town of any size including the "Orient" and Europe.

Just for the Hell of it, don't wave at any Spyder riders when you ride it. It really get's there Goat.
