..its when. Stopped and rear ended by an obviously distracted driver at low speed. If you notice, the rear fender on the GS is shoved under the seat. If I was on two wheels I feel the outcome would have been much worse. I walked away.

& then some. Fyi, I was holding back on sharing my 'lil incident. The other week I was stopped at a light when there was a hit & run behind me. The car that was struck was hit hard enough to be spun around, clipped my new hitch & T boned into the car beside me! It could have been much worse, my hitch & fender are bent & rubbing on the drive sprocket & tire. :gaah:




The cops found a plate number (out of state plates) for the runner, but no driver info & I only learned this after getting the police report that of course has my statement wrong! :barf:




Fyi, I was not in the turn lane as pictured, but in the LH straight ahead lane next to it & boxed in by other cars.
I have the forms to try & get the report fixed, I've just got to do so nicely; and, oh ya, the repair estimate is conveniently just under my deductible, new tire & all :dontknow: That SUX!

Illegals

Don't depend on the other guy to even have insurance! In Texas, Arizona and California do not expect all drivers to have even the minimum insurance. Many illegals drive with no insurance here and if involved in an accident run for the border. Many of us here have had first hand experience.

Yea sure insurance is required here by law but then --------. Well you know the rest of the story.

That's why they made it illegal for Illegal Aliens to drive a couple of decades ago. Unfortunately the California electorate has forgotten that expensive lesson and allowed Illegal Aliens to get licenses again.
