Anyone use this alarm on their RT? Any instructions on how to install it? Thanks!

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I think I might get this unit myself and figure out how to install it.
I doubt you can get the remote start to work due to the security key the spyder uses. But it is the only unit I could find that comes with a proximity sensor standard. Good price too.

Cut and paste " Spy 5000m alarm " into Google search. There is a ton of info.
I'm using it on my RS. Pretty straight forward wiring right from the supplied diagram.
I did not hook up the remote start. Seems to work good. Hardest part is finding a location for the proximity sensor. Mine was not sensitive enough under the seat so I put it right under the plastic just In front of the seat.
It will allow people to look and get close but as soon as you get within the "Y" profile and stay there it starts to get angry.

That should be easy enough. Take the antenna off the ignition switch and mount it, along with a programed key somewhere under the bodywork. Done. The DESS computer should not know the difference.
