• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

G'day everyone
Can anyone help me .I would like the instructions on how to take of the sports rack. The dealer did not give them to me When I brought my Spyder.or is there a posting already?
:dontknow:

Your dealer has online access to all of the installation instructions for the BRP add-ons. Just call 'em and tell them to print-out your instructions. I had the same problem and they did it for me ... no questions asked. It's annoying that BRP doesn't give us computer access to these instructions as well especially considering the price we pay for the items. In any case (whether you get the hard-copy instructions or not), there are hidden nuts that hold the rack in place. The nuts are hidden by the black plastic fender skirt thingie. Squat down and look upward. There's a single screw (T27) at the very aft tip. Remove that one as well as the next two pairs (at least). You need to be able to pull that skirt down enough to access those nuts (and get your fingers and a wrench in there). If you don't grap ahold of the nuts, God only knows where they're going to end up when they come loose from the bolt threads. Warning: When it comes time to reinstall these T27 screws, don't overtorque them. They can easily strip the material into which they're imbedded. While your squatted down there, remove the two T25 screws that secure the bottom plate of the sports rack.

Good luck.

I have 6 pages that the dealer gave to me with the install. I can PDF them and send them to you. I am not sure about how to post them on the discussion forum though.
