• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi to Everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR !
FIRST... I want to Thank everyone for the killer response to my new website,
NOTE it is still being added to and updated. "but not as fast as I would like" because of
...are you ready..... here goes. Every Christmas for the past few years my wife Julie
and I go to Southern CA for the holidays, however this year everything went to hell
fast... Julie was tucking 2 of our grand kids in for the night and on the way back down
the stairs she fell and tumbled to the bottom, she got a bad concussion and broke her
left foot. Needless to say we have spent lots of time in the hospital in Sherman Oaks.
So if I have not responded to your many requests for SENA and other information
that's why. She goes in for surgery on the foot Thursday morning so I will be busy
with that as well. I will do my best to answer all of your questions and needs ASAP
just drop me an email to [email protected] or hit the contact button on the
motorcycledave.com website.
Thanks again everyone

sorry for your troubles; thankfully only a foot. Heres to a quick and complete recovery.:ohyea::yes:

So sorry to hear. Please give your wife my best and let her know I feel her pain. 4 weeks ago, I slipped on the ice and broke both the Tib and Fib above my right ankle. It sucks cause your so limited on what you can do. Then add on her concussion, which compounds the limits. I hope all works out and she gets well soon.

PS: Ask her doctor for a prescription for a knee walker ( most insurances cover it). Way easier than crutches to get around.

That knee walker is a great idea, I had one when I broke my ankle
I don't know where it is now. you know getting old is NOT for SISSIES
I hope I spelled it right.
Thanks again everyone
Dave

Hopes and prayers for a quick and complete recovery!

She's tough; she's had to put up with you, hasn't she? :joke:

Knee Walkers are great; :lecturef_smilie: make SURE that it's adjusted to completely keep the weight off of her foot!

I agree with Bob!!
I spent Xmas Day in bed with 102 degree fever and coughing fit to burst!
Didn't get any Xmas dinner and much less cheer!!
Hope your wife soon gets well.
Best wishes for the New Year!!
