Speedohealer speedo fix

My 2011 RSS SE5 has a relatively large speedo / odometer error which I would like to correct with the use of a Speedohealer unit.
Has anyone fitted this unit to their machine and what speedo sensor pickup did you use?
I am reluctant to fit this unit to one of the wheel sensors as I believe this may affect the ABS / VCM modules on the Spyder.

:shocked: How much of an error are you talking about? :dontknow:
If it is just they typical 2 mph error at 55; it'd be easier and cheaper to fix it with a change in tire sizes, when you've worn out the back "shoe"...
Go to a 215/60-15, and you'd be back in business!

Yes, try the 215/60/15 tire size. It worked on my RT.

A bit more information, speedo is generally correct at 35mph, but progressively gets worse the higher speeds you do, 68 v 60mph, 170 on the odometer compared to 156 actual distance.

Going by the tyre sizes, circumference and revs per mile, the 215/60-15 is still not sufficient to correct the speedo error (still several mph out at 60mph, and greater at the higher speeds that we are allowed to travel here).
Evidently, going by the distributor, he has sold the Speedohealer to suit the Spyders but is unable to offer any information on the sensor pick up point.
I am hoping that some-one on this forum has purchased this unit and is able to assist with my query.

:agree: That there are limitations to how much you can "adjust" with the tire...
I just hoped that a fix would be simple. pps:
