• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's a short video and some pictures of our latest trip the past month to the South region of Portugal (Europe).
This a well know and historic mining area (pyrite). It has also historic moorish influences has the region was occupied until the XV century.

The lovely white village by the river is Mértola with it's medieval castle on top.

Thank you for sharing. Nice pictures. Who is the statue?

It's the statue of (not an easy name) Abu Alcacim Amade ibne Huceine ibne Cassi.

He was a sufist, political leader and king for a very short time of the Algarve Kingdom (nowadays the very South region of Portugal).

It is said that he was of christian origins (because of the name Cassi which is Roman) and later converted to Islam.
