• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry!

Due to increasingly overwhelming circumstances, Nancy and I will not be able to make Spyderfest this year. I just cancelled our room at the host Comfort Inn, so if anyone needs a room, a quick call could nab you a non-smoking king room. We will miss you all, but between Nancy's illness, our need to tow the Spyder there :opps:, and a major difficulty with the house project, it just can't be done this time around.

Sorry to hear that you will miss Spyderfest, i was looking forward to meeting both of you and picking your brain.

Oh no! We'll definitely miss you and Nancy. I was looking forward to meeting you both, maybe next year. Best of luck to you...hope both the illness and house issue turn out to be minor bumps in the road.

Scotty, I too am sorry that ya'll won't be able to make it. Our first meeting was just too brief, and I wanted an opportunity to "share with you" more.

I was unaware of Nancy's situation. I do hope that all will be well. I know that the two of you will be in ALL our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear about Nancy, I hope it's nothing serious. You will be missed at SF.

Just so you kind folks don't worry too much, Nancy's illness is chronic hives. The itching for hour upon hour inside a riding suit is unpleasant, but the heavy doses of multiple antihistamines knock her out and make it unsafe for her to ride pillion a long distance. The other medication lowers her immunity, making exposure to crowds risky...although she was willing to wear a mask and gloves for the duration. There were other factors involved, too, since we had to fire our builder today and start over on the house project. When it all piled up, we decided to stay home, and make the best of our time and money, as well as the little strength we have left. I just didn't want you all to worry about us. Nothing life threatening...just life. Your concern and caring is greatly appreciated.

That is really to bad Scotty. I met you at last years spyderfest and I really enjoyed our visit. You are always a wealth of information that all of us use from time to time. Hope the wife gets better and maybe we will see you next year.

So while you're getting the house project back on track; start thinking up answers for the questions that we're going to be asking after we all get back...

Bummer..!!

We know that was a hard decision to make at this late date. All the best to you both may Nancy get better and the house as well. Don't worry the questions will never end Bob may wait till he gets back but the rest of us won't.. Thanks for all your help..!!

Bummer.. but I totally understand. While I'm going to make Spyderfest, I've had to cancel my other trip with my HD buddies this year... just too much 'life' getting in the way as you say.

Maybe you'll be able to make the Owners Event in TN.

And here I thought I'd have to ride all the way to MO to see my neighbor.....sorry I couldn't really chat the other day when you yelled "Hey Guy" inside Meijer.... we'll have to catch up another time.

Dang

Sorry to hear this, but life comes first before play, keep Nancy comfortable, guard your house project, hope to see yall at the next event maybe.

So sorry to hear this! I was so looking forward to seeing you both again. Sometimes circumstances arise that are beyond our control and health comes first! Take care Scotty and Nancy. I hope to see you next year. You'll be missed by all.

Sorry to hear that you are missing this year as well. Hope to see you next year unless Spyderfest goes from 1000 people to several thousand. Then I am not so sure. lol
