• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry "old question" RTS throttle-body:

I am too new to find it on a search.

Bought my 2011 RTS Aug 31st... have read about problems with the throttle-body. Dealer said they upgraded the software on all "notices" and "upgrades" they were aware of before they delivered my RTS -- to include the upgrade on the throttle-body problem.

My question: Was that enough to solve the problem? Or do I need to push the issue with them on replacing anything?

Thanks in advance for any input.

The throttle body does not need to be replaced unless there are throttle body related fault codes present in BUDS. You should be good to go!

Thanks. That's all I needed to hear.

I have a good dealer and have no reason not to believe them... but I am always "double-checking".

Again... thanks!
