• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I have been watching the forums as well as other sites and speaking to the 2 local dealers here 1 of which will never get any business from me. But I made the leap today and placed my order for a Spyder SE5. Dealer told me it is guaranteed to be in by November 30th however they think it will come in sooner than that (I HOPE). So now that i made that big leap give me your suggestions on Mods to be thinking about :-)

Now you've done it!! There are so many mods that are being done. Just spend a few hours reading all the back posts and you'll have more ideas than you have money to spend on. Trust me, I know. ;D ;D

:welcome: First of all, get ready for the worst dose of frustrated anticipation of your life! For me the wait for a Spyder was worse than any Christmas I can remember!! But it is well worth it! The Spyder is an AMAZING ride! As far as mods, you've come to the right place. Just check the forum list and you will find anything you could want. Mods for performance, styling, safety, anything. Our webmaster Lamonster has done just about everything that CAN be done to his Spyder, and is constantly looking for new mods. In fact, customizing your Spyder has affectionately become known as "Lamonsterizing"

Anyway - if there's anything in particular you need, just ask. I'm sure somebody on this site has done it or is thinking about it.

Thanks for the welcome!!!!!I have seen many of the mods that Lamonster has done and i have to say very impressive. I have been lurking in the forums for about 2 months while making my decision.

This is my first motorcycle style vehicle so i'm completely new to it all!!!! I do have one question I put my deposit down sight unseen and was curious about the pegs mainly on the left side. I can't move my left foot at the ankle this is why i have never owned a motorcycle in the past. Are they small like i see on alot of bikes are are they fairly wide? Are there any pegs that might be better for this situation?

As for other mods i have no idea what i want at this time was just looking for some suggestions are the best ones to start with. Such as the handle bar extension or bags (not really thinking cargo is going to be an issue though) headlights, breaklights mods anything really...

Lamonster i see your in TN what part are you at? I'm in West TN

:welcome: :congrats: I am new too - I ordered a red standard but swapped to a yellow so I can get it before July 4th (I hope)! All I can say is this place is awesome - best forum around - you won't need to go anywhere else! Spyder is an awesome ride - tons of fun - I like it more than my Harley!

A few hours? Try a few weeks to read all the back post. This is from someone who caught up on reading every post in this forum after just getting actively involved in March.

If the stock pegs are too small, there are many aftermarket pegs or floorboards that will work for you. There have been a few people who have replaced the stock pegs so there is some experience here.
