• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I cannot take credit for this post as I saw the information on "The other Spyder website"...Credit goes to Paladin:

I was a social event with one of the small cruising clubs we belong to on Sat night and one guy who just got back from Sturgis and Milwaukee where he got the "birth certificate" for his HD sheesh

but he mentioned something that peaked my interest. he said he had a program on his GPS that had all the locations for the TV show Diners, Drive Ins & Dives, so they went to one where they were staying one night.

Guess what I found? I found 2 web sites that have a ton of already done maps for most of the TV shows and for a bunch of other places one may want/need to go.. check them out

Point of Interest (POI) GPS Download for Diners DriveIns and Dives, Man vs. Food and More.

POI Files for United States & Elsewhere | POI Factory

I think they work for Tom Tom too but I'm not sure

All you need is to download the Garmin POI Loader

Garmin | United States | POI Loader

Now I use a program call Tyre for anything that involves routes, so I have it open when I download anything for my Garmin then save it as I found sometimes the GPX files don't seem to work unless you save them with this program. It's free ( I have the pro version as I needed to split up some routes and there is no way to do it otherwise )

Just out of curiousity, did any of you eat at Hemingway's in Springfield last Spyderfest? It's in the Bass Pro Shop, and it's GOOD!
