Something gone crazy here

Went on Spyderlovers.com this morning and first thing I noticed was that it did not sign me in automatically and my password had evaporated and there were ADs everywhere! Ordered new password, signed on and still lots of ads tho less so. My home computer is fine just like always. What is going on?

Double check that the remember me box is checked. So far, no issues with my sign-in's.

That ad infusion stuff all over the internet is beginning to bother me a lot. Any news article has ads all over the place. Wish there was a way to block them??????

I am guessing they pick the cookies up just by clicking on the articles?

First thing is to assume that your browser has been hijacked by spammers. A bitch to get rid of, Babylon is one of them and Conduct, I think is another, sometimes its easier to delete your browser and get another copy. Going to the extentions/plugins in tools and deleting them sometimes works. The longer you let it go, the more they download to mess with you. Sometimes you can go (in windows) to add/remove programs and kill them, they are also hidden with other names. Click on date installed and remove all of the latest ones.

With Google, it does track what you look at and those ads can show up at the side or top of a page, but normally doesn't show up in Forums.

was using my iPad as usual.
Was using my cell connection.
Dont know what it was but seems to be gone now.

if you do cleaning and delete caches cookies etc. then you got signed out and have to sign back in. At least thats the only time it happens to me...:thumbup:

If you are using a form of private browsing, it won't remember that you are signed on and may have issues.

If you think you might have been browser hijacked a couple of free programs I use to remove them are Ad-aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Google them and you will find them. Usually between the 2 it will take care of most problems.

Have had problems also when using phone you can see the redirect in the header. Tried to show my dealer something last night and it came up with a naked girl
