• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The BRP has finally moved the rear tire valve to the right side of the back wheel....what a pita...it has only been years on the wrong side. End of rant!

cheers

on the left side you have to deal with the belt

on the right side you have to deal with the HOT muffler

leave it on the left side

;) If we've got to have something to gripe about: I'd rather it be this; than something like a poorly-built engine that leaked oil and coolant like an incontinent dog leaks... everything else! :yikes:

This is an easy mod.

You can easily do this yourself, remove rear wheel " I would do it when you replace the rear tire"
Go to a truck tire service company and buy a curved metal chrome valve stem, drill the correct size
hole needed for the valve stem then install the tire and install the assembly on the Spyder you will have
2 valve stems in the wheel NOTE: BE SURE YOU DRILL THE HOLE EXACTLY 180 DEGREES FROM THE OTHER VALVE SO YOU DO NOT CREATE AN OUT OF BALANCE CONDITION.

Or you could go to your local Harley Davidson dealer ans spend 10.95 for an extension hose to check and air up your tire. Thats what I did. Very easy to install and use. It has zero air loss.
