• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Smooth Spyder Belt Tensioner F3-Ltd.

I installed a Smooth Spyder Belt Tensioner on a buddies 2016 F3-Ltd.
Set the tension at 10 as per instructions to start off with.
Though there was an improvement decreasing the belt vibration it was still there.
Tried increasing the tension to 13 with no noticeable improvement and maybe a little increase in vibration on deceleration.
Just wondering if anyone has installed a Smooth Spyder Belt Tensioner on their F3-Ltd.
How’s it working for you & what tension did you set it up with?

I installed the Smooth Spyder on my F3 L with good results. I too set it to 10lbs and still had vibration; went up to 13 then settled in at 11 lbs for best results. Still had some vibes at 67 mph. The best fix I can report is right now at 10 lbs. and three new non Kenda Tyres:mad:. No vibes. My observation, as least for my bike is that the tyres contributed to a lot of the vibration.

I have an RT Limited, and had a SmoothSpyder tensioner on for almost a year, it worked well, but did not get rid of all the vibrations. I find that Doc Humphreys tensioner works much better and got rid of vibrations I didn't realize were there.

:agree: I have Doc's tensioner on my RT as well.
My buddy bought the Smooth Spyder before BRP's or Doc's was available.

Last year. Have since put 30,000 miles on it. It worked great
And has continued to prevent any belt vibration. I am happy with the purchase
Even though I've seen others on the market now for less money. I would definitely
Purchase this product again if I were to purchase another Spyder. I've had two friends purchase the one from BRap for $49 and it failed and tore their belt up.
