Do i risk the chance of damaging anything if i change to size 14 rims on my 13 rts!
I like the 3 spokes better and i have a set that is collecting dust in the garage!

I don't think they will clear the Brembo brake calibers...BRP changed the brakes on the 2013's, that's why they went to the 15" wheels for clearance...I think!!!

2013 RT & 14 INCH WHEELS

:agree: ..... I would find someone who has that 14 inch wheel and try it before you BUY it ...... The calipers do look larger , but that might not be the case ........ Mike

larryd is correct. the 14" rims will not fit.
Unfortunately.
I also prefer the 3 spoke look of the earlier 14 inch rims.

If you have a set, pull a wheel off and test fit.

Aren't you going to have Nanny problems if you do that? Changes the number of revolutions at a given speed. I would have expected that a change to 15" wheels would have required a recalibration of the VSS system speed sensors to account for that, compared to the 14" wheels in the previous model years. - even if the wheels did fit.

It won't affect Nanny. The different aspect ratio on the 14" wheel & tire combo makes up for the differences.

View attachment 139623[/QUOTE Thanks a lot Bob! this really helps a lot! Now i have to see if the calipers size won't interfere!
............Bob's info is Mis-leading ....... #1. the " Nanny " is a lot more concerned with the " CIRCUMFERENCE " of the rear tire ......#2. then She will notice the " DIFFERENCE " between the front and rear TIRES ..... the WHEEL SIZE doesn't come into it...... In reality un-less you have CUSTOM wheels in some outrageous size difference ... you can't screw this up........ Your issue with what you want to do ...is does the WHEEL FIT over the caliper ........ Mike

Mis-leading?
Bull****! nojoke
The difference in the tire circumferences is only 1.3%.
It's clearly there for you to see...
Nanny counts the revolutions of the tires, via the ABS system.
In this case: the difference is only 1.4%

Let us know if the 14 inch rims fit over the brakes on your 13 RT. It would be interesting to know.

Also there are 3 different offsets on Spyder rims. 2012 and earlier GS/RS are different than 2012 and earlier RT. 2013 and later all models are different than both previous. May need to shim the fender a little to center it up. Should not be a big deal.
