• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SIRIUS XM RADIO - INSTAL - PART #1

BLUEKNIGHT911

Sadly Passed Oct 2024 - RIP
So the radio arrived two days early .......I checked out everything .... the dock is 3 x's bigger than the radio itself :banghead: ....but it will all fit in my glove box......... I decided to mount the Antennae on top of the trunk in the center with a device that allows the wire to angle down at 90 degree's. I will use dbl. sided tape for this ....... I took off the inside liner and wrapped some of the antennae wire round the posts and tied them on with telephone wire ( very thin stuff ). I drilled a couple of tiny holes on the edge of the liner for this very thin wire and attached the wire down the right edge and into the area behind the passenger seat back ..... there is a lot of antennae cable, most will stay coiled in the area by the brake fluid containers ...... I laid a 30" length under the Tupperware on the right side, to the glove box ..... drilled a small hole and put the plug in..... I have a power plug on my dash but the connector supplied is HUGH ..... someone in my other Thread got Power a different way so I'll have to investigate that ......... more to follow ...... Mike
