• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

simple question

i read most of the posts on here, so i give my opinion and some i don't because i don't know anything about other spyders. my main question is, why is it that some people will say, i went out for a ryde today, and not say i went out for a ride today. now i know the Brits spell tire as tyre and ride as ryde but most of the people that spell it as ryde are from the states. is there a reason is it because spyder is really spelt spider

Can't speak for anybody else but me, but I tent to use the "y" in my vernacular spellings as an alternative twyst ( see how I did it there...lol) simply because I am a Spyder owner. I was an English major in college, and am well versed in the correct spelling of the words I use...I simply like to have fun with them. I'm not sure if others out there are doing it for she same reason, so I'm just speaking for me. good question though...I've wondered the same thing myself.

I'm not part of the crowd that uses the Y where it's not normally used. Those same Y members probably don't call a trunk a trunk. It's just your choice.

How about the word tend instead of tent?
