Went in to my GP to get checked out do to a nasty cough. Chest x-ray negative. Gave me a script for a cough syrup with codeine. 4 day later, I'm in hospital with bi lateral pneumonia. 
. Spent 3 days in hospital getting all kinds of tests and meds. Felt so much better, but was told to rest and not over do it. 4 days later, I'm eating dinner and suddenly I couldn't breathe. Right side of lower back above the kidney felt like I was being stabbed. About passed out waiting for the EMT's.
After all the tests, it was determined I had several blood clots in my right lung. :yikes:. I guess my inactivity after being released from the hospital earlier in the week, and told to take it easy, allowed clots to form in my lower legs. When they decided to move and lodge in my right lung, we were at my MIL celebrating my wife's birthday. Happy birthday honey.
Been in hospital for 3 days with a couple more to go. Feeling much better. Still can't believe how dam painful that was.
Sorry for the long winded (pun intended) rant. There's really not much do do in here @ 10:15 pm....:banghead:
