• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ride leaves at 9 a.m. sharp
HDX & Roaddog and I are leading one of the three groups (grp 3).

OCC will be there, food, car show, bike show - good time:)

Anyone interesting it costs $20 per rider, passenger is less but not sure how much. Fun time! Gates open for registration at 7:30 a.m.

If I can rearrange our plans for that weekend, I'll be there. Can I request to be in Group 3 when I register?

Hey there - hope to see ya on the 14th! Why not - just when you register say you wanna ride in Group 3. I have no clue what they'll say but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. Get up front w/ us - We'll have 2 Spyders up there - mine & Roaddog's.

Stratford CT. route 110 exit off Merrit Parkway cant miss it it is a very big place.possibly 4 so far don't now exit # but as soon as you get off exit left under parkway and your there:spyder:

Just wanted to give you an update. The original ride I committed to is on for tomorrow, heading to Newport, RI for lunch and some surrounding towns.

Unless they cancel due to rain, I won't be there tomorrow. That said, I'd still like to hookup with you guys for a ride.

So, my ride to RI got postponed... rain.

I went over to Sikorsky, arrived about 12:45, didn't see you guys. Walk around through the autos and bikes that were out. Even picked up a Streeters Artwork card. Would LOVE to have them do the paint on my :2thumbs:, but my guess is I'll need a second mortgage. I'll find out.

So, how was the ride?
 
Ride was okay - never really got it out of second gear - and only 110 riders because of the weather but it went smoothly. We must have all just missed one another - we left right before you got there. It was way too hot for me to hang out in a parking lot - I don't do heat very well.

We'll have to hook up though! HDX, Roaddog, Me and you and your wife - I got my two bros pipe - it is loud - I love it. Now I can rip it under overpasses again like the old Harley days!:2thumbs:

saw you pullin in gate 1 when I was pullin out of gate 2 was 2 sweaty 2 day only hung out for about 1 hour after ride needed something 2:cheers:

Absolutely. We just need a little lead time to find a babysitter so my wife can join us. We've been out a few times and she loves the ride. Obviously, I can be more flexible to join you guys :D

I would have reached out to you guys earlier, but I had to get my skills up, not having your years of experience. I'm just under 2200 miles and I'm very comfortable on/of highway... and at speed +, so, I'm ready when you are.
 
Maybe we can all hook up next weekend sometime - Sunday would probably be better. I only have a few years riding my own - HDX and Roaddog have been my inspiration. If it weren't for the Roaddog, I wouldn't have a :spyder: - he got me hooked. And I had alot of bikes in the few short years I've been riding. I am pretty comfortable on it too and I think we both have the same mileage. So let's keep in touch this week so we can all ride.:2thumbs:

Bummer. Would have been nice to finally have met... even over a :cheers:

I walked the length, checked out some of the Vipers, the headed back out. Two guys where I parked by Gate 1 wanted me to take the :spyder: in to show it off. I assumed you guys already been there and done that :D So I heade out for a short ride, then home.
