• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Even as my company is amidst another massive round of job eliminations, I've decided to keep my Spyder. First, I'm never going to recover what I have put into it. There is no quick fix for the economy. Second, I love the thing too damn much. I can get my speed fix on my Buell but I can't duplicate the piece of mind when riding two up with my boy or the novelty of being the center of attention everywhere I go.

Sorry for the false alarm. ;)

:congrats: for your decision and remember Tail of the Dragon! :2thumbs:

Sorry about the economy affecting you directly. Sign of the times, I'm afraid. Michigan seems to lead the nation in misery. Sure glad you were able to keep the Spyder. I know how much you love it. Welcome back!

Good news about the Spyder, bad news about your workplace. I know the feeling as I work for GM and we never know week to week if we'll still have a job or not.

Welcome back - or should I say, Glad you didn't have to let go of the Spyder. I know mine is the most addictive bike I have ever owned.

It's ok I freak out everyday I wake up to go to my office, thanks to the wolfs we have running our economic system. But we'll get our feet back on the ground, and if not, I'll paint my Spyder matt black and strip it down and do the Mad Max thing like Mel... and search for gasoline!
Oh yeah welcome back to the web.
