• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nice pictures....

The lesser known capital of the Lone Star state of Texas. Does have some nice areas... thanks for the pic's....

The missus and I are from Austin, and our son and daughter-in-law live there. When I moved to the Northeast in December 1978, Austin was a nice little city of 220,000 folks, and very little traffic. Now there a highways and toll roads everywhere, and traffic like you wouldn't believe. Still a great city, gotta love the food trucks & Sandy's Frozen Custard.

Austin

I live just outside Austin but drive in to work each day. Even leaving at 0515 traffic is moderate. IH 35 is a parking lot, I stopped using the toll over 100.00 a month...now that money saved is put into the Spyderfest fund.City is getting too expensive to live in so people are buying houses outside the city limits which adds cars to the roadway. Never ending battle.
