Actually I just found one that goes under the seat and it's by evoluzione - it has a bulb which lights it up. Might go that route.

Check your state laws before investing. In Michigan a side mounted plate on a motorcycle is not legal. There are even specifics as to how far off the ground and everything else.

Same with Florida, although they really havent been enforcing it. Centerline of vehicle, aft as much as possible and still maintain visibility from 15 ft away while seated in a cruiser. I just remember this from my last ticket on the sportbike for plate location
