• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have owned two RT's and I just showed my wife a picture of the new 2015 F3 from the front view.....

That front grill is the real ugly spot imo. i agree with your wife. I don't think the F3 is a replacement for the RT anyway, for most ..

she is not the only one that has noticed this. But it's here to stay and has grown on some...I'm sticking with my RS... :ohyea::ohyea:
 
Not going to be a customer--but--I like that orange one with the hood scoops. It is kind of changing in my mind from "ugly" to "mean looking." Amazing how the more you look at it, how it seems to grow on you.

You might try some of that subliminal stuff like Ralphy tried in the Christmas Story. Put some pictures or ads for the F3 in her magazines, etc. Have your TV play some of the video clips how the F3 is reinventing the ride. :roflblack::roflblack:

I just showed it to a gal for the first time and she said it looks like a car/hotrod....so lawnmower people see lawnmowers and hotrod people see hotrods. By the way the new lawnmowers are made to look more automotive. At least is no longer looks like a snowmobile. :doorag:
 
my wife said "it looks like the old husky snow machines." some of you are going to be too young to know what they looked like, but i'm sure bob d. can come up with a picture for us!!! :2thumbs:

That is EXACTLY my point! :banghead: I want the front of a 2014 RT (1330 ENGINE) with the back end of an ST-L (saddle bags) :yes:
 
I think I will buy a used one in 3 years for half the price with 1500 miles on it like most used motorcycles!!

Plus, BRP does not have a good track record with new spyder models. Let them work the bugs out.
 
What I find most amusing about this thread is,,, the people that aren't potential buyers criticizing the F 3 the most = must have a lot of free time.. The F3 is a performance Spyder,, addressing in my opinion some of the many things I have been waiting for.. I'm anxiously awaiting mine and based on opinions of people that have actually ridden one,,, I'm very comfortable with my choice 😎..... I also think it's silly to NOT own a Spyder and comment on any topic Spyder related but I'm old fashioned that way 😃 In defense of the OP ,, my wife made the same riding lawnmower analogy.... I said,, I like it and I'm getting it anyway 😎

I made the same lawnmower analogy, but it's grown on me and I see the muscle car in there too. I'm still getting one. I'll just have to get used to lawn tractor comments from strangers :)

I admit,,, I was not in love w the F3s looks at first / I had a first in line deposit for the Slingshot and was headed in that direction.. The two things that brought me to the F3 were,, I don't know if I wanted to give up handle bars for a steering wheel and The MAJOR deal breaker was the Turbo version coming in 2016���� So I cooled off on the Slingshot for now and I think the wifey n me will be quite content on the F3 for 2015... I think once we get the OVER THE ROAD LUGGAGE THING SORTED,,, we'll be smiling ��
