Took a short ride today on the Skyline Drive from the Swift Run Gap to the northern terminus at Front Royal. Saw two whole Spyders. A silver and black GS/RS going through the circle in Gordonsville and a red RT up on the Drive. While stopped at one of the overlooks a guy stops and asks if he could take a picture of his wife next to my Spyder. Who was I to refuse?
He took a couple of pix with her posing and asked the standard how does it ride questions. It was a first for me.
Farther on up the Drive I pulled into Elkwallow Wayside for a bite to eat and saw this:
A Park Ranger was very interested in this three wheeler.
The fellow was from Northern Va and had just gotten the Slingshot.
He said he went in looking for a Spyder and was seduced by the slingshot.
And I offer a gratuitous pix of my ryde.
Only 195.75 miles today. I gotta get another seat!
