Well after forty years of full face helmets today I bought my first open face. I have another one that was "given" to me when I took the BMW Advanced Performance Driving School. I wore it for a week in 2010 after I bought a new motorcycle and had to order my Arai RX-Q. I really enjoyed it but stuck with my long running dress for the fall not the ride philosophy. I still subscribe to that philosophy but have loosened up just s bit.
The J-Cruise is amazing. I have stayed from Shoei's because historically they don't fit but this is an intermediate oval just like my Arai. Arai's are notoriously loud but I was really surprised that the J-Cruise is quieter even with the lack of a chin bar. It has a flip down tinted shield that is really convenient. The lower weight is obvious the second you put it on and should really pay off on long rides.
I give it :ani29::ani29::ani29::ani29::ani29: five Spyders for comfort, quality, weight and looks.
