• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SHOCKS

I bought my 2012 RT/S last June and I was surprised to find out how many problems it had.
Such as the heat issue, steering issues, other ride issues.
I had a laser alignment done at Biketoberfest and it rode a lot better.
They said that the wheels were both facing outwards like snow plowing.
Turning the Spyder was a chore, it took a lot of power to turn like on an exit ramp.
I replaced the front springs since the shocks were bottoming out. I replaced it with a 500 pound spring. It rode better but not good enough.
My compressor was not working and even before that we were bottoming out on the rear shock.
I replaced that spring with a 1,100 pound spring. I'm working on fixing the compressor and will re-install that.
If I do I will probably put in a new spring 950 pounds.
I took the bike to Orlando and back the other day and I can tell you it rode great.
I could turn the bike with one hand. I use to get pain and numbness in my right hand and I was going to get a larger hand grip.
I don't need to do that. no pain no numbness even after riding 600 miles in one day.
The total cost for the spring replacement on all shocks was less than $200.00.
I'm not a happy camper yet, but I'm happier.

Not to worry..!!

you will get her dialed in. You have come a long way. Most of us have made changes to suspention, dealt with heat and a host of other things. Brp is getting better in all those areas on the new models, but one will always feel they need something different and make changes....

You're the man

Sounds like with the tweaking you have all ready done that you are the man for the machine and you will have it dialed in, in no time. Keep up the good work and keep us posted. I like hearing success stories.
