• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shock info

'' I am looking for feedback on the optional Fox Podium 2.0 RC2 shock. I am a big guy (340) and if Can Am is like every other manufacturer, the stock shocks leave a little to be desired"

Sorry about all the crap you are receiving here, I see you just wanted info. on the Fox podium 2.0 RC2 shock, seems like a reasonable question to ask. I'm not sure why they responded if they didn't have the answer to your question :banghead:, I found very little to assist you with on Google but I'll keep looking...

2 up not as good

Just came back from a 75 mile 2 up ride with my 110 lb son with many twisties and the rear SACHS shock is definitely wanting. The bike has great control one up but is fairly sluggish 2 up. I was able to bottom out the rear shock just bouncing at a stop light. The front shocks were a tad off. I was talking with my dealer and I think I may order the ELKAs for both front and back. Not sure which. Haven't done my tax forms yet but I'm sure my rebate will cover the Stage 4 and 5! I just LOVE this bike and want to make it perfect FOR ME. I'm NOT trying to make it an RT but I want a GREAT cruising/performance bike that I can still have top performance when 2 up. Anyone else going to change out their shocks any time soon? Just wanting to make a great bike SUPERB!

I'm obsessed with this thing!

Thanks Mark,
I'm looking for better rear shock too, so please let me know what you decide on.
I couldn't find any comparison charts to see the difference between the standard shock and the upgraded one.... Still searching

SHOCKS AND WEIGHT

I can't speak for the shocks ...........but as far as your stated weight goes ....BRP designed the F-3 suspension ( and all the rest ) to be able to handle a driver and passenger up to a certain amount ......................I am certain your weight does not exceed that limit......Someone here has already swapped out the SWAY bar on His F-3 for one from a 2014 RT because it's stiffer.....I do believe Ron's 2014 RT swaybar will also fit the F-3 .....check with Him about this .........it may solve your issue at way less expense ......................Mike
