• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shad top case SH48 vs SH58x

I am planning to add a non-OEM topcase to my 2016 F3 and am leaning towards the Shad case. Ann Meyer has the 48 and it looks awesome the way it is mounted but unfortunately McGyver doesn't live with me so I will be getting a pre-fabbed rack most likely from Value Accessories (the MBL rack).

I was curious if anyone has the SH58x and if so how do you like it? Has anyone else compared these two models of Shad cases?

I wish there was a local Shad dealer so I could go lay eyes on these cases in person - but it doesn't look like there is from the Shad website.

shad top case

Since they are not a sponsor on Spyderlovers ..... I have, in the past, found some pretty nice top cases sold on E-Bay.... Lots of different sizes, some have built in LED's some have passenger backrests etc....at very nice price-points ...It will cost you nothing to check it out ..... good luck .........Mike

58 liter

Contact tomand in Boulder City. He has the 58 liter on a Baker rack.

I personally like the looks of the 48 better than the larger one. But my case was made by Shad for KTM so that may be why it looks like it does.

This is the KTM part number 6201292700030.

Edit. I just looked at Shad’s site and my KTM box definitely looks better than the generic Shad 48.

Do you have a picture of this on your Spyder? I would like to see the whole thing if possible.
Thanks,
Toby
