• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It got up to 63 here today. We're under a winter weather warning. Snow up to 10" by Wednesday morning. :banghead:

Schools are already announcing closures for tomorrow and the snow isn't supposed to start until around noon. There was a run on Lowes for shovels and salt, and Wally World, Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly or what ever grocery store for the obligatory bread, milk, toilet paper, 24 pack of Barf lite and a 50lb sack of dog food. Oh, and gas for the vehicles. The DOT was out early this morning pouring brine on the roads. Me, I went to our Monday morning breakfast, made a trash run to the landfill, filled the truck, only because I was down below 1/4, went to the post office, went to Auto Zone, lunch. Got a call from my late friends daughters asking for help getting the two Spyders started. Took an hour and a half run up the road to help them. Came home, had dinner, sat on the deck with the fire pit for awhile. Now I'm writing this.

So snow if it will. I don't care.

Busy busy..!!

sounds like you get more done if your under a threat...:roflblack::roflblack: Hope it all just blows by...

It was almost 60 up here in the foothills Monday. With the wind chill, its supposed to be 9 in the morning. But looks like the snow is going to miss us.

My parents just retired and moved down from NJ to Swansboro- said they were looking forward to mild winters. Think I'll call to see how much snow's on the beach tomorrow:roflblack:

Here in ChiBeria also known as Chicago, it was -16 wind chill -34 when I got up this am. Oh, and my new 2014 RTS is supposed to be delivered to the dealer today. I knew it would be a cold day I hell .....

Freezing Cold Here

you guys should be here it is miserable weather. Right now it is 70 F., sunny and I am stuck in the garage replacing lug nut cover caps. Almost broke into a sweat but I slowed down to avoid it happening.

72 yesterday.
77 today.
80 tomorrow.

....but don't think we got it made....we seriously need rain...we are already on a voluntary 20% water usage reduction. If it doesn't rain a lot in the next two months we will be on a mandated 30% reduction by May.

I was looking at that weather map on NBC news last evening. All that freezing rain/snow mix stuff, all the way down to New Orleans--sheesh--that is very scary indeed.

On the opposite side, they said it was 51 above in NOME, AK yesterday. Unheard of, that is by the Arctic Circle and even way north of my area--which had 40 degrees yesterday. The melt here has caused large avalanches and closed the only road to Valdez from mile 12 to mile 64. The DOT said it may be a week before that road will be open. No way in or out unless you have an airplane. We are really having some bass ackwards weather this winter. If my driveway melts by the weekend, I may be able to fire up and drive the black widow. My previous early record was March 3rd about three years ago.
