• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For the people not going to spyder in the smokies this year,I was thinking of having a ride to dutchman essenhaus in Middlebury, IN. They have great food and lots to see and do. Wondering what everyone thinks of this idea, please chime in and let me know. It sounds like it could be a good ride:2thumbs:

Greg

Or we could do both. I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make it to Gatlinburg, but Middlebury / Shipshewana sounds like a good trip.

Kathy and I are genuinely interested...cannot confirm at present. However, if we go to Shipshewana, she is insisting on taking our Camry, so she can bring her loot home...:roflblack:

Greg, I did'nt get a pm from you but in response to your invite, I'm going to have to pass on that weekend. It's just too close to Gatlinburg and will be getting ready for that. Another time:yes:
Dick

If you all want to go earlier. thats ok. I'm sure I will have some time off before that. If I can't make a ride I'll catch the next one.

ok dick and sorry you didn't get the pm invite I thought I did give you one.

Greg, no problem on the pm. If you guys want to schedule something earlier that's fine with me. John is out of town for the next week or so and probably won't be able to make it. I'll be out of town next weekend but any other time is fine with me. Like Tina said, plan it:chat: and I'll try to make it. Her schedule(and your greg) is alot more restrictive than mine.

Ok lets plan on sept. 12th thats a saturday and we can meet at the 20 bypass Indiana 19 north exit. What time is good maybe 11am at the exit, that way we would have time to get there by 12pm for lunch. How does this sound to everyone?

Greg

I can't commit yet, as my current schedule is through Aug 25th. Go ahead and plan. If I can make it I'll be there.

Huh?!

"...20 bypass Indiana 19 north exit..." :dontknow:

U-m-m-m...okay, I'm gonna have to check a map, so I can figure out where that is. I'm not a native of Indiana-only moved here two years ago-and I still find the Hoosier system of numbering roads and highways very confusing.

The date's okay, AFAIK, though...

NewRider:spyder:

Take 31 north and you will run right into US20 bypass near South bend and follow the signs to Elkhart:chat:
